Enquiry details: your name, phone number, email address, and whatever you write in the message, together with the property reference or service you were looking at when you sent it. This is the only information most visitors ever give us.

Seller submissions: if you submit a property, we also collect its location and what you would like to do with it.

Technical information: pages visited, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type. We use this in aggregate to understand which properties draw interest.

We do not collect payment details on this website, because we take no payments here. We do not ask for your Bank Verification Number, and we never will.

To respond to your enquiry, which in practice means calling or messaging you back, usually within one business day.

To send you details of properties or services relevant to what you asked about. You can tell us to stop at any time and we will.

To improve the website: which listings are viewed, which searches return nothing, where people give up.

To meet our legal and regulatory obligations as a company registered in Nigeria, including record-keeping for transactions we complete.

We process your enquiry because you asked us to contact you, and because we have a legitimate interest in responding to people who approach our business.

Where we send you marketing about properties beyond your original enquiry, we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Our own staff, so that a consultant can call you back.

Service providers who operate parts of this site on our behalf, hosting, database, email delivery and analytics. They process data on our instructions and may not use it for their own purposes.

Professional advisers, such as lawyers and surveyors, where a transaction you are pursuing requires it.

Regulators or law enforcement where we are legally required to disclose.

We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not pass your details to other agents or developers.

Enquiries are retained for as long as we are in contact with you, and for a period afterwards in case you return, property decisions take months or years, and we would rather not ask you to repeat yourself.

Records relating to completed transactions are kept for as long as Nigerian law requires.

You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any point, and we will unless we are legally required to keep it.

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act you may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it.

To exercise any of these, email us or call the number on our contact page. We will respond within thirty days.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request, you may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored in access-controlled systems. Access is limited to staff who need it in order to respond to you.

No system is perfect. If a breach affects your information we will tell you and the regulator as the law requires.

We use a small number of cookies to keep the site working and to understand how it is used in aggregate. Properties you save are stored on your own device, not on our servers, and are not linked to your identity.

You can clear or block cookies through your browser. The site will still work.

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
